Lais is a Toronto-based R&B artist whose first album, SESSION ONE, gained the attention of Drake’s label OVO and was later aired on OVO Sound Radio and Beats 1/Apple Music. I was tasked with developing an Instagram campaign to promote his follow-up release, GIVE ME ONE MORE.
To complement Lais’ raw and dark aesthetic, I designed a series of cinemagraphs, one for each track, formatted for both Instagram Feed and Stories. Social engagement tripled in the week leading up to launch and Lais was named Apple Music’s Favourite New Artist of the Week.
